REMEMBER : IF IT HURTS, IT'S PROBABLY WORTH IT

Tweet tweet

Do you tweet?

What's the deal with Twitter? Why is everyone on it? I still can't figure out what the fuss is all about. So, it's like updating your Facebook status, but you do it more frequently, and people stalk you and give comments. Right? Is that really just it? Would you be kind enough to explain it to me?

What else does Twitter have to offer? Why is everyone on it? Even the U.S President, Barack Obama is "tweeting" regularly, that's so weird! Hahahaha. Yeah, sometimes I check out my friend's tweets, even celebrities and other public figures. Surprisingly, I do find their updates quite interesting. But still, I DON'T GET IT!

There are some emails coming in from some of you guys, asking me to make an account. Sorry, I'd really like to, really. How ever I just can't understand the point! And I'm thinking like, yeah it would awesome if you have like a million followers, or at least more than a hundred (like Ashton Kutcher or Ellen DeGeneres), but I'm not that awesome. Hahaha.

I'm one of those internet geeks, that has all sorts of online accounts. I even make accounts just for fun and delete them once I'm bored. Facebook, Myspace, DeviantArt, Flickr, Friendster (deleted that one, if you found a fake profile, don't add it), Viewbook, Plurk (deleted also), oh and sooo many more. But still not tempted to make a Twitter account hmmmm.

Cassie, I'm totally of your opinion!
Two days ago, when the President of Germany was voted, an assemblyman and -woman tweeted the result before it ws officially announced. that was quite a scandal.

The only fun thing about Twitter is knowing what celebrities have to say about certain things; ie, the Pratts. They're full of drama. And Perez's. Other than that, everything's a bore.

Btw, celebrities = busy? Yeah, right.

my dearest sist Cassey... thank yooouu sooooo much for replying my email. and your reply was so helpful kak! :D

wow. you are the most humble "celebrity" i have ever find. hihi x)

anyway kak, you dont need to tweet, because you are stalked by now, eventhough you do not tweet. people could always find how to stalk person they like. ( hehe i dont know what i am talking !)

ah ya. one more. hope you dont mind if i apply the same layout as you do. thanks a bunch sist.. :D

I'm hooked with ur blog. We have the same opinion, I don't get what all those face and tweet stuff are all about. It's just plain wasted! except blogs! Lol.. nice to read about u.

i have a twitter account, but i don't really tweet... not really interested to, even lots friend of mine do tweet. prefer blogging instead :p

Cassey said...

Yeah you're welcome! And thank you too ;)

for me, the advantage of having a twitter account is its easy and compact packaging...........hahaha that's why it's called microblog.for me it's not like facebook updates at all,it's just like blog draft. you blog random thoughts on twitter and collect the best fragments to compose a new post.for me, that's make it easier.because ideas always fly away...........as fast as a single blink hahaha seems I use twitter in different way as others make use of it by stalking celebrities

Anonymous said...

It does seem like serious stalking, but that's the plus of it. It's okay to stalk via Twitter! You get to know very little details about someone, even if it's just what he/she had for breakfast. I find it very fun!

P.s: Nice blog! Found you on my friend's blog.

Xoxo

Many people use Twitter just for fun. Bloggers use it for making money, increase your blog traffic by Tweeting the others post. I have twitter acc too!~ : D

Unless you're an extremely important person it's just retarded tbh. It's an online narcissist application just like facebook, only worse.

I'm on my computer all the time, and I couldn't live without internet. But I think that facebook, and twitter especially, make life less interesting when everything and everyone are so available and trackable.

Besides, so so many give a false impression of themselves on the internet; such as on facebook, myspace and now twitter. I don't feel like signing up for another one of those... yeah, I'm a hater!

Kudos to you for not signing up!

*according to Alanda's
Hahahahahahahaha you should make one, Cass! It will make you feel like a celebrity! Hahahahahahahaha :p

hey!! you are A CELEBRITY, kak!! :)

i have plurk and i love it because I'm fun with it, so i put away my twitter. yeaa all those stuff just for fun maybe cass ;)

JANIT said...

I do tweet since a year ago and it was fun. but several of them just want to get 'trendy' by join it, just because now everyone is twittering. urgh

sararocks said...

yes it's like updating Facebook status Cas but you can read celebrity update news as well so you get the news earlier than anyone else who doesnt follow and not join Twitter.

I've once find news about Miley Cyrus on the morning newspaper when I've already read that news from Miley's Twitter on the previous night.

Ty said...

ahaha i have one though. to follow paula abdul's news, because we never hear paula here. right? anyway it's up to you whether you wanna make it or not. lol

and where have you been, Cassey?

Enep said...

it's like blogging which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters. if you're into social networking online, then you'll like it. it keeps people in-touch and announces activities. I think that's why celebrities does tweet. but if you're not into social networking online, then you'll think it's pointless.

for me it's just for fun. I can write down my simple thoughts everyday or my feelings. lol.

well, it's a matter of perspective ;)

Cassey said...

After reading all your comments, I'm much more less interested with Twitter. Hahaha

Cassey said...

Now that's an excellent explanation! Yeah, I'm starting to get it. And i totally agree, it is just a matter of perspective. Some like to "stalk" some just like to mind their own businesses. Thanks Enep ;)

rizky maretha said...

hahaha i don't know why, but sometimes we need someone to share :)

you already deleted your dA account cass? tell me how,i have two different account *what a waste :P

Cassey said...

Ah no, I haven't deleted my deviantArt account. Still love that one hihi.
You can't delete a dA account apparently. i tried googling it, but nothing came up. If you'd like to know more, check out this link ;)

i have a twitter to stalk Pete Wentz on the first place but then I stalk many celebrities hahaha

rigby said...

at first, i make a twitter account only to 'stalk' john mayer lol

bey said...

hahahaha i agree to what Alanda said. it's fun for famous people to twit things so that their fans could stalk from their homes. its like unspoken statement ('i am fahmousss') to those celebs.
and then you get to know what your acquaintances life's like (when you dont know them much) that you can find out same hobbies or interests or things to talk about. (unless you don't really care.)
some said you'll change your mind after you make your twit account, but it doesn't hurt to make one kok, you can always delete it anyway

CIN DY said...

im following your blog yea? hihi

Andra said...

mee too caass! I sooo agree with you.. all those online accounts, just not that interested in twitter..

Cassey said...

Hahaha aww you stalky stalkers! Well I do agree, I'm curious too of what the famous people do in their everyday lives. I wonder whether they ARE how they seem they are. Well, there isn't a celebrity I'd really really like stalk yet. So far. Hahaha. Hope you guys are having fun ;)

>CIN DY
You want to follow my blog? Oh sure! Thanks very much!

ribka said...

indeed, u r awesome!

Cassey said...

>Putri Erdisa
Yayy, I'm glad you've read the email, also happy I could help ;)

Hey hey now, I'm not a "celebrity" hahahaha. I'm nothing close to a celebrity. You shouldn't build up my ego like that, haha!

>Andra
Glad to speak for the two of us ;)

Cassey said...

>ribka
Thank you ;)

>Nathary
Hehehehe glad you're hooked! Hope we can keep in touch. Well, I'm kinda guilty though, I've got a Facebook profile. But I only add my friends! Really! Heheh

>Mutiara
Yes, indeed. I'm with you on that. But people have different opinions ;p

>Gita Ayunda
Exactly why I was asking! Hahaha. Oh yes, thank you for the linking :D

Gita Ayunda Hasanusindhy said...

jambam said...

thankyou for your comment, i appreciate it :)
i really love your blog!
and i made it twitter, it's the most boring thing ever
facebook is so much better! x

Indra said...

How fun or not on twitter is depend on who you follow/who are your followers. for me, it's really fun to chat and respond to a tweet or discuss something on twitter.

Twitter is really fun. if you know the right people to follow. I'm sure :)

IMO
Cheers,
Indra

Cassey said...

I'm sure that's true. I think that could perhaps be the best way to say it without offending anyone. Hehe. I have a certain amount of curiosity towards Twitter, how ever I'm not confident enough regarding the followers part. Hahaha. "Hi, I'm on Twitter, I have 2 followers!" zzzzzz. I'll stay on my hard working blog instead I guess, tee hee.

Cassey said...

Now that's a spirit! Good comment dear. Pretty sure you're right, it should be used just like how you do. Maybe one day you can find me on Twitter ;p

XANABIOTICX said...

lol! i tend to sign up for everything then delete it after 2 or 3 days.
